A Creative Charisma

As I met Navraj Raja- a 40 years young Leo Jatt Sikh – for the first interface, I saw this
Doabaian busy to invent tomorrow instead of paraphrasing about the work done till
yesterday as a Punjabi Song Video Director.

When I walked the talk, to explore his self and the work done so far, he started rummaging into the struggled past. Being surrounded by people who are creative to the core, Raja is pushed to be ultra-creative. Being cool, calm composed and collective, he has the knack of convincing the promoters of Albums to his school of thought. When I asked Raja as he shoot on a video, he has to make a choice; to this he quipped, “I look at the rhythm of the song, and then I replicate an abstraction, which make my videos closer to what the writer, singer and musician usually meant in the beginning. I have a lot of freedom in my area of skill and am very creative when it comes to my videos. Though, I do not believe in fast editing or to shoot from crazy angles but never forget my commitment to the shot.” When opportunity meets consistent preparation then success happens. Raja is a classic example of this in the light of the fact that for 8 years he worked as a Punjabi Music Video Editor (Year 1996- 2004) with various concerns. This is where is learned the nuances of this inventive and difficult work.

Year 2004 proved to be a watershed year in the life of this young man as he launched his own company, named, Navraj Production and started working as an owner, promoter Punjabi Songs Video Director. He gained success with numbers viz. It will not be out of place to mention that Navraj owes his success to the relentless efforts made by his reverend father S Bakhshinder Singh, a Senior Punjabi Journalist, Film-Critic and Award Winning Writer and mother Balbir Kaur. He has tened to add that his elder brother S Navtej Khela a Realtor and sister Navjot Dhillon Talk show host & News Reader FM Radio Station Surrey also helped him in his journey towards success.

Just now, he is busy in making arrangements for launching a Punjabi Comedy Film. We wish him scintillating success.
