The Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce hosted the ‘Invest India Invest Canada 2024’ event in Surrey last month. The event aimed at bringing together business leaders, government leaders, cultural ambassadors and community members to foster economic collaboration between Canada and India.

Consul General of India Masakui Rungsung , was invited as the Chief Guest and Mr. Kushagr Sharma, President of the Chamber welcomed the CG and made introductory remarks. Consul General during his remarks highlighted the importance of strengthening economic ties between India and Canada. Surrey City Councilor Linda Annis and Mike Bose also spoke on the occasion. The event saw participation of a large number of invitees and also saw a series of cultural performances showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India.
