My baby’s smile makes me forget all my sorrows, for me, motherhood is a roller coaster of emotions, a role where one learns every day and it is a never ending story. A mother builds forts, fixes football shirts, and teaches life lessons about broken hearts and self-esteem amongst a million other things for their children. It is a 24-hour job for every day of the year. The moment you stare at your newborn, your life changes forever, beyond measure, uncontrollably. I believe being a mom is not an easy job, and we must thank our mothers for giving their best without expecting anything in return.

Becoming a mother has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. In my opinion, becoming a mother is the most powerful phase in any woman’s life. Motherhood is journey of Motherhood is all about unconditional love, sacrifice, and selflessness. For me, it is the sheer delight of merely watching my children being themselves and experiencing all those initial instances when they have independently learned how to do things! There are so many reasons why I love being a mother, but one thing that brings me immense joy is observing the expression in my children’s eyes when they learn or comprehend something new. For me the bond between me and my children is a source of comfort, support, and strength. It’s delightful to notice small parts of my personality in them. I love that I get the privilege of shaping the minds of two beautiful children and providing a wonderful example for them. Being a mother gave me new a perspective on life and made me more patient, selfless, and compassionate as now I prioritize my child’s needs over my own.
