As the sun starts making its way through the gloomy clouds, we all know it is time to bring out our best summer looks. All we can think right now is soaking in the summer sun and drinking iced tea all day long while wearing the trendiest makeup look of the season. Here are five best makeup looks for summer that will give you an everlasting sunkissed glow:

1. SHOCK SHADOW

A favourite among celebrities like Lily Collins, shock shadow is all about using one bold colour to create an almost metallic shade over your eyelids. Keep applying your eyeshadow of choice until the colour turns opaque. The rest of your makeup can be your usual go- to style of something glamorous. Shock shadow is one of the two 80’s makeup trends to have made a comeback.

2. PINK BLUSH AND RED LIPS

Red lips have always been a classic and pairing them with pink blush on the cheeks makes them a perfect summer look. It is a very casual look but you can take it to the next level by adding a golden bronzer on top of the pink blush. Emma Stone donned this look at the LV Cruise by Louis Vitton in New York City on May 9, 2019 and she looks just as fresh as a lily.

3. SPARKLE ALL OVER THE FACE

Who doesn’t love sparkles? Honestly, we aren’t surprised that the late 90’s trend is back. Body glitter and glimmer has become a way for millennials to express their happiness and personality. You can rock a full-face glitter make-up because glitter products are available in different colours, textures, and shimmers. Mandy Moore and Gigi Hadid wore the look at recent events and looked fabulous.

4. DEWY MAKEUP WITH RED LIPS

All you need are red lips, dewy skin, and bold eyebrows to make a fashionable statement this summer. The key is to give your red lips a hint of sheen to make the whole make-up look fresh. Experiment with different shades of red including brick-red, orange-red, or bluered and try on a full glam look.

5. BARELY-THERE BRONZE

You would have seen celebrities including Kim Kardashian West and her sister Kourtney Kardashian rock the barely-there bronze look several times during their outings. It looks natural and slightly unpolished but very hot and sensuous at the same time. The inspiration behind creating the look was a wet look after your swim. If you don’t like putting on too much makeup, you can experiment with the barelythere bronze look.

We can’t wait to try all these makeup looks this summer. Which ones are you planning to try?
