We should use Celtic sea salt or Himalayan salt. There are more than 10 significant health benefits of Celtic sea salt and Himalayan salt and I recommend that you start using either in your cooking. Artificial Sweeteners: Being artificial, you should not use these fake sweeteners. Unfortunately, many doctors recommend them because they are supposedly safe for diabetics because they are low on the glycemic index or glycemic load. We cannot blame a phycisian. This is what the mfrs. tell them. Ironically, new research has shown that artificial sweeteners causes a disturbance in gut flora and can actually cause diabetes!

Moreover these artificial sugar substitutes have been clinically linked to bladder cancer, brain tumors, breast cancer, hypertension, weight gain/obesity etc.

Instead use stevia. Stevia is prepared from the leaves of a plant which is 60 times more sweeter than sugarcane and has ZERO CALORIES. The brand Truvia is locally available and taste like sugar.

Conventional Milk/ Fresh Milk: The feed given to live stock is genetically modified . And hormones –oxytocin to nameare administered to boost milk production. This is the reason why some experts speak loud and clear that we should not drink milk. Problem is with the contamination of feed to the animal. The toxins in the feed get transferred to people when they drink milk or eat, which have been linked to many of the diseases viz. Heart attack, HTN, Diabetes and Obesity

Moreover, similar to fruit juice, when raw milk is pasteurized, it also loses its nutritional content and makes it pretty much nutrition-deficient. Because the enzyme lactase is destroyed in the heating process, then people cannot properly digest the milk sugar, lactose. As per National Institute of Health,, “Approximately 65 percent of the human population has a reduced ability to digest lactose after infancy.” The milk we buy today from mega stores, is pasturized. By far, raw milk is healthier than pasturized. Therefore cheese or yogurt made out of this in local health food stores is better than milk, if prepared from raw milk.

Unknowingly, daily we are buying health killing slow poison one after another, fall sick and be in the hospital or at a physician’s doorstep. We need to eat non GMO food to stay healthy. May be you have to pay a little more attention to your food intake. But beware of fake claims made by mfrs. Readymade Cereal not a good choice
